Flower Detail
Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' I planted this in 2007 and am pleased it's doing well. Dies back to the ground each winter, but reaches about 2 ft and has showy white blossoms that last several weeks. It's in a partialy shady & protected location that has good soil and more water than most parts of my garden. 2011 it didn't bloom at all. 2012 I had my biggest bloom yet -- 8 inches -- good for Alamosa!
