Flower Detail

Eschscholzia californica

California state flower. I've let it spread in my garden and pull it out where I don't want it. These are some of the first and last flowers of the season. The plants can get leggy, so I just pull them out and others grow in their place. These work especially well in free-form areas of my yard.
