Flower Detail

Lychnis chalcedonica

Scarlet flowers that pop up all over my garden. It's about the only reseeding flower that's bright red (other than Shirley Poppies). I usually leave this at the back of the border as the bottom of the plants start looking raggedy before the blooms are gone.
