Delphinium
Magnificent! The tall beautiful stems are the crescendo of the garden! Delphiniums come in a number of varieties. They typically bloom from late june to mid july with a few flowers appearing later. I have mine sheltered near a 6-foot fence as even when staked they may snap in our strong winds. Mine have begun mild reseeding. They require moderate water and rich, well-drained soil.
