Alamosa Flowers: San Luis Valley, Colorado

Flower Detail

Phlox stolonifera

Creeping phlox is usually the first flower to bloom in my early spring garden. The lavender seems to be the hardiest; one of my old reliables. Plant isprickly. Works weel with snow-in-summer and dragon's blood sedum as the colors work well together and they bloom successively.
